Heritage Day event

 Each year th e Noosa Shire Museum hosts a Heritage Day, to celebrate Heritage Week and the National Trust's Australian Heritage Festival. 

The annual event brings together local heritage groups and community organisations to raise awareness of our Cultural Heritage in the Noosa region.

Past participants have included the Noosa and Districts Pipe Band, The Gympie Mining Museum, Pomona Men's Shed, Noosa Botanic Gardens, Noosa Biosphere CA and save the Dingoes. Also vintage cars by the Cooroy Coastal Car Club and vintage trucks and fire engines from the museum collection.

This Heritage Event is self funded by the Noosa Museum as an event for our community.


Note: The 2020 Heritage Day event, planned for Saturday 9th May, was cancelled due to Government Coronavirus restrictions.
